Sureshield Microporous Coveralls are certified for both Type 5 and Type 6

Category III. Anti-static (EN 1149-5). The material is a barrier against infective agents (EN 14126). Made from 55GSM non-woven polypropylene with a Microporous laminate film resistant to liquid splashes while remaining breathable. These coveralls are lightweight and comfortable to wear. Design features include a front full-body zipper and elasticised hood, ankles and cuffs. Finger loops prevent arms from riding up when working above your head. Ideal for asbestos removal, spray painting, low hazard pesticide spraying, boat building, dusty areas and general light industry.

• All SureShield Microporous coveralls contain important information on the neck label which you should read before using the product. Below is a guide for interpreting the label.

8. Care Instructions: do not wash, iron, dry clean or tumble dry. Stay away from flames or intense heat.

Storage

• SureShield Microporous coveralls should be stored in dry areas away from direct sunlight.

Disposal

• SureShield™ coveralls can normally be disposed of in landfill or incinerated. Restrictions may apply depending on the contaminant encountered during use. Check with your local council for further details.

Warnings

• Where SureShield Microporous coveralls are used in conjunction with other PPE it may be necessary to tape cuffs to gloves, ankles to boots and hood to respiratory devices in order to achieve full “Type” protection. The user shall be the sole judge of correct combination of PPE and coveralls.
• Wearing coveralls, like many forms of PPE, can lead to heat stress. It is recommended that users adequately hydrate and take regular breaks to ensure dehydration and heat stress does not occur.
• When removing coveralls users should take care to avoid contamination by any hazardous substances encountered while wearing the coveralls. If coveralls are contaminated then standard decontamination procedures should be followed (i.e. decontamination shower).
• The user is responsible for ensuring the appropriate use of SureShield Microporous coveralls and no responsibility will be taken for improper use. Contact your SureShield Microporous provider for information about the correct product for your job.
